Resident Evil 6:The Final Chapter pushed back until 2016??

According to imdb.com the release date has been pushed back until 2016. here is a bit of what it says on the website "The film was originally start filming in Fall 2013 for a September 12, 2014 release date, but got canceled for 2016 instead".I'm still reading 2015 in some places,If anyone know for sure, please post it here in the comments.If it;s true,it's a bit disappointing,but as a true #Vitch,I'm still excited that it is gonna happen,just may not as soon as we want.bittersweet it's the last one though,just don't let Alice die =[. asn as always, Milla is amazing!!!! <3

Last year brought about a bevy of updates regarding the sixth installment in the "Resident Evil" film franchise. We've known for some time now that this is the last movie Paul W.S. Anderson plans to do, so it's apropos that the next film is tentatively titled Resident Evil:The Final Chapter

Collider broke the scoop and they add that Anderson is in the middle of writing a first draft. There's no shooting start date (yet) and no release date (yet).

The last sequel, Resident Evil: Retribution, opened September 2012.

When we previously spoke to Anderson after the release of Resident Evil: Extinction, he informed us that he was working on a "new" "Resident Evil" trilogy that would close out the series. That trilogy – or story arc – began with Resident Evil: Afterlife and continued with "Retribution."

Say what you will about the series, starring Milla Jovovich, but it has been very profitable for Sony and Screen Gems. Profitable not just on U.S. soil but overseas as well. "Retribution' earned $240 million worldwide on a budget of $65 million.

Update On the New Resident Evil Game

From KDRA Masters    I'm going to post part of the article here and you will see why..it mentions this....what I have highlighted in white lettering in bold print ...I am hoping that it will Be Alice!!!! voiced by Milla, I've seen in earlier articles a mention of Alice,then I seen one where she wasn't..now this, So it's all about keeping our fingers crossed! According to what has been revealed regarding this new Resident Evil.

It is not Resident Evil 7.
It will be revealed at E3 2014.
It will feature three returning characters from the series. One male and two female.
Two of these characters haven't been seen in a 'decade' and one of them never had an appearance in-game.
